My Abortion Experience Inspired Me to Fight for Underage Youth

Graci D’Amore (she/her) is an abortion storyteller and the Program Manager at Jane’s Due Process, a statewide non-profit that helps young people in Texas navigate parental consent laws to confidentially access abortion and birth control. In her current role, she oversees volunteer management, manages a 24-hour hotline and text line, and provides one-on-one case management for youth wanting an abortion in states that do not have a judicial bypass project. She was previously a counselor and medical assistant for a Texas abortion provider and a digital services advocate at the National Domestic Violence Hotline’s loveisrespect project to support youth experiencing intimate partner violence.
